Marlyn Marcano

Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Marlyn Marcano brings a deep passion for language, culture, and education to every program she leads. She moved to the United States in 2008 and now calls Colorado home, where she lives with her husband and daughter.

Marlyn holds a degree in Business Administration with a specialty in Marketing and Communication. Her professional background includes more than a decade of experience in promotions, event coordination, customer service, and CRM, which have strengthened her communication skills and ability to build meaningful connections.

Her commitment to education and cultural outreach spans many years. Marlyn volunteered for 13 years at the Denver Zoo, supporting bilingual and ESL children in educational programs, and at the Jefferson County Public Library, where she represented Venezuelan culture at multicultural events.

Since 2014, Marlyn has taught Spanish enrichment classes in several Jeffco public schools through after-school programs. In 2017, she co-founded Spanish Language Adventures, serving as lead instructor and primary curriculum creator. In 2025, she founded Colorado Languages to continue her mission of providing engaging, high-quality Spanish instruction for children. She currently also works as a Para-Professional with Jeffco Public Schools.

Through Colorado Languages, Marlyn combines her professional background, cultural roots, and years of teaching experience to inspire a new generation of Spanish learners.
