Spanish Instructor
Originally from La Ceiba, Honduras, Fidelia Flynn has lived in the United States for nearly 50 years. She first arrived as a high school exchange student and later pursued higher education, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing from the University of Vermont, followed by an MBA from Fordham University in New York.
Fidelia began her professional career as a Civil Attaché at the Honduran Mission to the United Nations from 1983 to 1986. She then spent 33 years at Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association (TIAA), a retirement and pension services company, where she worked from 1987 until her retirement in 2020.
After relocating to Denver in 1997, Fidelia has remained active in education and community service. She has taught Spanish at Ute Meadows Elementary School in Jefferson County and currently volunteers with Habitat for Humanity.
As a member of the Colorado Languages team, Fidelia brings a rich international background, strong professional experience, and a deep love for the Spanish language. She is excited to support students through engaging instruction and meaningful cultural connections.
