Valeria, known as Val, is a native Spanish speaker from Bogotá, Colombia, who has lived in Colorado for the past 3 years. She holds a degree in Business. She has built a strong professional foundation through her experience in retail and customer service, where she developed excellent communication skills and a natural ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
Val is a multilingual professional, fluent in Spanish, English, and French, with a working knowledge of Italian, and is currently expanding her skills in American Sign Language (ASL). Outgoing, enthusiastic, and creative, she thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys building meaningful relationships with students and families.
Val is passionate about sharing her culture and native language with children and believes that learning Spanish should be fun, engaging, and interactive. Through her teaching, she strives to create a positive, welcoming learning environment that inspires curiosity, confidence, and a love of languages.
